TrimLock Ltd. warrants that, within Canada and the Continental United States of America, under normal use and conditions the integrity of the Insulated Steel Skirting and Cladding Panels, within a period of Thirty (30) years after the date of delivery, will remain intact as intended.

Steel Panel: First (30) years the panel will hold its integrity as intended when installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions.

  • Manufacturing Integrity: First (10) years covers the manufactured integrity when installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
  • Colour: First Three (3) years the colour finish of the insulated panel will not fade or lose its integrity in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions.

How do I cut the product?

A skill saw and steel/metal saw blade, for best results cut the panel from the back side this keeps the textured side cleaner from cutting debris.

Can the product be repaired if damaged?

Repair of the panels, trims and all aspects of the product can be repaired onsite if light damage occurs. Repair materials are supplied with each order and for heavy damage, each individual panel or trim work can be easily replaced if necessary without hassle.

Is it necessary to use a PwF 2x4 as a base to set the skirting on?

It is not absolutely necessary however by not installing PWF and or regular 2×4 as a base the chances of the skirting not performing as intended are high. This system has been developed as an everlasting product so it is recommended to follow the instructions and local building codes to achieve the best results possible.

If I do not like the colour or get tired of it can I recolour the product on site?

Yes, the product is made up of materials that can be recoloured many times if required, it simply needs to be cleaned of all dirt and contaminants and recoated with a quality acrylic topping. We can steer you in the right direction for the best product to use with our Trimlock panel system.
